Hike + History at the Manassas Battlefield Park
Manassas National Battlefield Park preserves the site of two major American Civil War battles: the First Battle of Bull Run, also called the Battle of First Manassas, and the Second Battle of Bull Run, or Battle of Second Manassas. This was where Confederate General Thomas J. Jackson acquired his nickname "Stonewall". The park encompasses nearly 5,100 acres of land and includes more than 40 miles of hiking trails.
Easy Hike: Our hike will be approximately 1.5 miles with 98 feet of elevation. Please note there is a gentle hill, unpaved terrain, and very little shade on this hike. Dogs are welcome on a leash.

While there is a parking lot that can accommodate many cars, this is a popular hike and historic area which means the lot may fill up. For this reason, we are organizing carpooling. When you sign up, please indicate if you are looking for a ride or if you are able to provide someone with a ride in your vehicle.
As a reminder, this hike is part of our partnership with Pass to Pass and Inova Parkinson's and Movement Disorders Center, but all are welcome to join us. Because of their generous support, there is no fee to join any of our hikes.
If you are interested in being a support hiker for this trip, or any of our hikes, please email Michelle at Michelle@AIMHumanPerformance.com
