Our Hiking Program is Back!
 

Join us for the first Moderate Hike of the season.

This hike is a part of our partnership with PasstoPass; a volunteer-led organization that provides supported backpacking and hiking trips for people with Parkinson’s. You can learn more about their organization and upcoming hikes across the country here.

Moderate Hike: Approximately 3.4 miles with 728 feet of elevation. For those with hiking experience. Sunday, April 12 from 10am-noon at Buzzard Hill at the AT. 

Buzzard Hill at the AT is located in Bluemont, VA. The trail includes a stream crossing, 2 ridge climbs, a very unique waterfall with lots of interesting features, and the ruins of a cabin. Some parts of this hike are steep and rocky, so hiking experience and good shoes are recommended.
