A short, but breath-taking, hike for a gorgeous fall view!
 

Bear’s Den Overlook Hike is located near Bluemont, VA. This hike follows the Appalachian Trail to an amazing panoramic western view of the Shenandoah Valley and Blue Ridge Mountains. We should be in time to see the leaves at peak color!

Hike Details. This trail is rated moderate. While the distance is under 2 miles, the rocky ground and elevation climb makes this hike more than “easy.” The distance is 1.7 miles with 285 feet of elevation. Dogs are permitted on this trail.

Fees. There is no fee for this park.

Parking. There is a lot near the trailhead.

Registration. Interested attendees must complete the hiking registration form below. After you have provided your contact information and emergency contact, you will receive an email with more detailed meet up information about this hike.

As a reminder, this hike is part of our partnership with Inova Parkinson's and Movement Disorders Center, but all are welcome to join us. Because of their generous support, there is no fee to join any of our hikes.
