2025 Annual Letter
Monday, June 30, 2025
To our valued current clients, former clients, business associates, and followers:
Happy summer! June 1, 2025 marks eight years of occupancy in our current office and the official opening of AIM Human Performance. It also signifies approximately 18 years that we have been offering exercise services in Northern Virginia. This September will be the 3-year anniversary of our recovery center, the AIM Longevity Lab. The past year has brought new projects that we would like to share with you. It also has brought some changes which you can read about below.
• Welcome Meghan! After completing AIM’s Internship program, Meghan studied hard and earned her NASM Personal Training Certification. We are so happy she has decided to join the AIM team! Meghan brings years of experience as a registered nurse and licensed master esthetician. Her unique background plus her passion for exercise makes her an outstanding personal trainer.
• New EmpowHER class. Years in the making, this women’s only class is a combination of strength training, boxing fundamentals, self-defense training, and a weekly purposeful practice for social impact. This class blends the unique skill sets of our personal trainers in a group format designed to build strong women in body and mind.
• Eat Well, Live Well Book Club. This joint project with our nutrition coach, Sabina Kelly, is having a strong second year! Our group continues to grow and we’ve enjoyed discussing 8 books.
• Community Programs Continue. This past year saw the continuation of some of our most beloved community programs.
o One of those programs is our partnership with Inova’s Parkinson’s and Movement Disorders Program which sponsors our Boxing and Strength Training classes for those with Parkinson’s. We recently expanded and are now offering 4 classes/week.
o Women’s Self Defense. We continue to offer classes and teach these important skills to the women and girls in our community.
o Our work with the Prince William Library has expanded this past year with quarterly projects including videos and in-person events.
o This year brought a new partnership with the Virginia Department of Health. AIM has hosted and co-taught a course entitled Until Help Arrives.
• Education. Continuing education has always been, and continues to be, a priority so that we can offer the highest level of service. The AIM team is finishing the Functional Gait Assessment course from Gait Happens. Additionally, AIM is now leading weekly study group sessions for all health professionals. This free, one-hour session is our way of helping to improve the quality of personal training and exercise instruction in our community.
• New Equipment. Our new InBody provides a detailed body composition analysis to more accurately track your progress. We’ve also added a new Concept 2 Rowing machine.
With another year behind us, we are busy planning for another successful year ahead. We hope that AIM will become your ultimate destination for improving your health and longevity.
As a reminder, all appointments are subject to a 24-hour cancellation policy. If you do not notify your trainer/instructor 24-hours before your session, you will be charged the full cost of that session. Additionally, there is a $25 late fee for invoices that are not paid 2 weeks from the sent date. To avoid this late fee, we recommend keeping your credit card on file.
Thank you for allowing us to serve you over the past 8 years. We look forward to continuing to help you improve your health through exercise and recovery for years to come.
Sincerely,
Michelle & Chris Viggiano
