We’re heading to Shenandoah National Park!
Before the crowds and heat arrive, we're taking a trip to Shenandoah National Park. This will be our first group hike in the national park.
This hike is rated moderate; 3.5 miles and 800+ feet of elevation. It begins near Skyland Resort so overnight accommodations, restrooms, and a restaurant are available. This hike is known for its panoramic, expansive views! It’s often said these are the best views in the park!
While there is a parking lot that can accommodate 15-20 cars, this is a very popular hike, and the lot often fills before 9am on weekends. For this reason, plus the cost of entering the park, we are organizing carpooling. When you sign up, please indicate if you are looking for a ride or if you are able to provide someone with a ride in your vehicle.
As a reminder, this hike is part of our partnership with Pass to Pass and Inova Parkinson's and Movement Disorders Center, but all are welcome to join us. Because of their generous support, there is no fee to join any of our hikes. Please note that there is a fee to enter this park since this is a national park.
If you are interested in being a support hiker for this trip, or any of our hikes, please email Michelle at Michelle@AIMHumanPerformance.com
